Welcome to our new blog, where we will share with you weekly, all our latest news and goings on at our bistro in the little village of Stock.
We have had a very good, progressive 2016. With our move and expansion from Dandelion Coffee Shop to our bigger and better equipped premises around the corner. With this move-Dandelion and Burdock Kitchen and Lounge was born.
Our new space boasts a kitchen from which we have been able to extend our menu to offer food more in line with a bistro. We have our new menu coming soon, which will include a specials menu and of course, our tapas options.
Speaking of which, our tapas ‘pop up’ nights have proved very successful and due to popular demand we will be hosting more in January. The next dates are Friday 20th January and Friday 27th January. We have a few tables still available for both nights, so phone or email us for your booking if you would like a table. We have also just announced that we will host a Valentines Day Tapas Night, where you can treat you loved one to a romantic evening of good food and drink. We expect this night to be popular, so book your table as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
The expansion of the business couldn’t have happened without our wonderful team D & B. Like all businesses, evolving is only possible with a loyal team. We have two new additions to our team. Our Manager is Anna Huntley, who has had many years working in the food industry. Anna has had a positive impact on the business and is popular with both staff and customers alike.
Ben Matthews is our chef, also with experience working in busy environments and his creative flair has come as a welcome addition to the dishes we serve to our customers.
We would like to start 2017 by thanking all our customers near and far for all their support over the past year of change and we look forward to serving you more of your favourites in 2017. Happy New Year!
